Blog is currently well known by people in the world. the amount of the blog owner, called blogger, is raising for almost 88 million in 2007 (BBC Report and kompas). It means that the number today is higher than 88M blogger.

A blog, or ussually called weblog, is a website maintained by personal and consist of entries (post). The type of the entries is apprearing in reverse chronological order with the most recent post appearing first on the page. A blog also have a comments facilities to let the visitors give their comment or appreciation about this blog, and also have a links feature to put other blog address on the blog front page as a link.

The first blog started in earlier 1990s as online diary. Many people at the time posted their daily activities, their lives, and also opinion through this online diary. In the development process, blog became a social networking where every blogger exchange their link and give comments each others. Sometimes they make a blogger community based on hobby, region, or work place.

As the Internet has become more social, blogs have gained in popularity. Today, there are over 100 million blogs with more entering the blogosphere everyday. Blogs have become more than online diaries. In fact, blogging has become an important part of the online and offline worlds with popular bloggers impacting the worlds of politics, business and society with their words.

In the future, blog become more powerfull where more people and businesses recognizing the power of the blogger.
